The Derry Area Artists Collaborative in Derry, New Hampshire, was born of the need of a local artists and friends Corinne Dodge, Judy Krassowski, Brenden Keegan, Patricia Crowley and Ingeborg Seaboyer to get together on a regular basis to trade ideas on life, love and the pursuit of artistic contentment. This website began as an off shoot of that collaboration. Corinne, Judy and Patti have all developed individual websites and Brenden can still be reached via email, so if you are looking for the other founding members click on the links below.
As a forester with the State of New Hampshire, Division of Forests & Lands, my pen and ink drawing has turned into something of a second career. I have illustrated three books: “Selecting Trees for Urban Landscape Ecosystems”, and “Good Forestry in the Granite State” Vols. 1 & 2, and provided most of the illustrations for New Hampshire Project Learning Tree's “Focus on New Hampshire Forests.” Additionally, I have completed commissions for the New Hampshire Timberland Owners Association, the New Hampshire Tree Farm Committee, the NH Department of Agriculture, Innovative Natural Resource Solutions, UNH Cooperative Extension and numerous individuals.
Early on I began combining both watercolor and colored pencil with my pen & ink, as well as experimenting with watercolor and oils. I take part in local art shows and exhibits each year and have received recognition from the Beaver Brook Association, the Greater Derry Arts Council, the Greater Salem Artists Association, the Chelmsford Artist Association and the Londonderry Arts Council.
